The Thrivent matching gifts program has ended and is now replaced with a program called Thrivent Choice. In the Thrivent Choice program each Thrivent member has a certain amount of money that he or she is allowed to designate to a chosen charity. This amount is determined by the products that the individual holds with Thrivent. This designation is Thrivent's money that is at each Thrivent member's disposal to give and does not come from the individual's own money.
Please consider giving your Thrivent Choice dollars to the efforts to open Academy of the Cross in the Fox River Valley. Remember that, to give this amount, you do not need to connect it to an individual donation of your own at this time. To designate your money, follow these steps...
You'll need to sign in with your username and password, so if you do not yet have one, your first step would be to set that up in the upper right hand corner of the screen.
Once you have accessed the website under your username, you will be shown the amount of Thrivent money available to you at this time to donate. Select the organization you wish to designate your dollars to. Academy of the Cross is working with Thrivent to add our name to the list of approved organizations. In the meantime, dollars designated to Fox Valley Lutheran Academy in Elgin, Illinois will reach the Academy of the Cross ministry. After you have completed your designation, you can set up a recurring gift option so that you don't have to repeat the process.
All money we receive will be used towards the cost of the work needing to be done to bring to life this new high school for the area.
